In the links below Steven Symansky is providing Excel files for scoring PC rallies and for USEA horse trials. These programs have received some testing but Mr. Symansky is not responsible for the results. The programs are being provided as a service to the equestrian community by Mr. Symansky. There is no charge. However several words of caution

When you click on a link below, you will be prompted to save or run the attached file. I suggest saving and then unzipping the files. Remember where you save it and hopefully you have WINZIP in order to unzip these files.

Dressage rally: Assumes three dressage rides per individual but will work fine if only 2 rides. Allows for up to 2 musical rides per person. It does not allow for tests of choice. New dressage tests are included dressage rally file (date of posting - 3/20/07) (Updated 6/2 to fix error with 3rd level and to ensure mistakes are not made with imputting Eliminations)

SJ rally: Mr. Symansky has never scored a SJ rally but the program has been used. You need to fill in all HM and all rounds even if not ridden ( put all zeroes in). Note that you need to use "pivot" tables for jumpoff rounds. It is not as hard as it sounds. You enter scores, and then "refresh" the pivot table and the program awards the points.SJ rally file (date of posting - 3/20/07)

Eventing Rally: The key is to put in the right parameters (dressage test, if XC time is counted, XC distance etc). The program allows for XC time to be included or excluded Eventing rally file (date of posting - 3/20/07) UPDATED 4/2/07 - several errors discovered; New files added 6/2 to allow for teams with combined levels on same team)

USEA Horse Trial: This is the most widely used and tested program. About 15 USEA HTs use this program every year. It even creates all the USEA and USEF paperwork needed after the HT is over as well as HTML for posting results .USEA HT file (date of posting - 3/20/07) UPDATED 4/2/07, 5/8/07, 5/22/07, 6/27/07, 7/9/07, 9/09/07 and 6/1/08- several small errors and bugs discovered as well as some additional programming and improved instructions)
